3. First Impressions of Thailand
Ok so these photos are from the first full day in Thailand. Keep in mind that I’m working in an office for a good part of the day. These photos are shot randomly at different points such as waking up in the morning, getting lunch, and a brief outing at night. The giant tree is actually right outside my window and I really want to climb it! ..I will before I leave. My favorite experience of this day was riding around on the bikes through the city at ni9ht near the mall and seeing a man ride his bike up a ramp into his house.. I kept having flash backs of John Belushi and Animal House. Unfortunately that was one thing I wasn’t able to photograph, but the rest of these photos do a good job of depicting the other events.

Well I made it! Actually I made it 5 days ago and I’m now sitting in a coffee shop in Sriracha with my buddy Will. Currently were watching a Thai couple go through a pretty messy breakup, while the Thai equivalent of a Rastafarian walks back and fourth out front smoking some hand made cigarettes… Thailand is AWESOME! The coffee shop were in is what I always wished Starbucks would be. That is a great atmosphere.. nice warm colours, soft soothing Asian music and most drinks under $1.50. The music I could take or leave. Anyway enough about that though, so the following photos are from my first night in Thailand. Josh and Bekah are the other two people with me. We went to a night market and looked through an endless sea of food, fake watches and many other things. I only took a few photos and even 1000 photos couldn’t show you most of the stuff here.
When I decided to make this blog I wanted to create a post for every day or maybe every 2 days. I’m still not sure which one I’m doing but we’ll see how much time I have. Anyway Ive been in Thailand for 2 days now. It took me a total of 32 hours to get here. I had a total of 2 layovers and a total of 21 flight hours. I left Toronto on Tuesday at 6:30PM and made it to London in about 7 hours. Local time was about 6:30AM. The first bank of photos show what i did for 8 hours while waiting for my flight to Helsinki.
Please not that I really only had about 4 hours of time to look around so most of these shots are very disconnected and random.. but that’s how I like it. These are just some things that caught my eye.
